Cats Available for Adoption

Thank you for choosing to adopt a pet. If you are interested in adopting a kitten or cat listed on this website please contact us or visit our shelter to meet the pets "in person."

Prepare to be loved. And ignored.

Jean Clawed
McCook Humane Society Guest Jean Clawed was part of a litter of kittens that was born to a stray that was brought in and not claimed. He's an orange tabby who was born back in June. He's definitely overly spoiled, very used to being handled, and very playful. This guy would fit into any home and actually thrives on attention.

Tamison
McCook Humane Society Guest Tamison is a one year old gorgeous gray tabby with white shorter haired cat. She comes to us only because the hubby is allergic to cats and the allergies got so bad the family had to make the decision that Tammy and the kittens had to find a new home. She's here looking for a new home, along with her kittens, Laverne and Shirley. She's a sweetheart, and gets along with all of us. This little girl just loves to love and to be loved.

Sushi and Kiwi
McCook Humane Society Guest Sushi and Kiwi! Two adorable kittens out of a litter of five kittens that were born on June 27th and were brought to us because there were just too many cats and kittens around. Sushi is a longer haired gray female and Kiwi is a brown/gray tabby female with shorter hair. Also in the litter are Skittles, a female shorthaired calico and Sherbert, who is a shorthaired male orange tabby with white. There's also a black and white short haired female named Cupcake. They're all social, friendly, playful and ready for adoption!

Mrs. Potts
McCook Humane Society Guest Mrs. Potts came in with three adorable kittens that were just born so we've had them until they were old enough to become available for adoption, which they are now. She's a very sweet short haired calico colored gal who is very used to be handled and loves the attention we give her.

Beauty Belle and Chip
McCook Humane Society Guest Chip, Belle and Beauty are three adorable kittens who came in with their mom, Mrs. Potts. They were just born so we've had them until they were old enough to become available for adoption, which they are now. These short haired cuties are very sociable and definitely come pre-spoiled and ready for forever homes. Chip is a male orange tabby, Belle is female, almost calico, but mostly white, and Beauty is the calico (female of course).

Copper
McCook Humane Society Guest Copper is another super sweet and playful kitten who came in as a stray that wasn't claimed. This orange tabby with white markings is strikingly handsome and truly loves all of the attention he readily gets from us. He's two to three months old, loves anyone he meets and would be great in any home with anyone.

Pepper
McCook Humane Society Guest Pepper is one of a litter of four adorable kittens that were brought in because the owner had too many cats and kittens. These short haired cuties were born on June 16th and this adorable soft gray tabby is a male. They've been around other cats, and seem to be taking to the ear scratching, belly rubbing and playing just fine. They're playful, fun and would be a wonderful addition to your home.

Catty LaBelle
McCook Humane Society Guest Catty LaBelle is a beautiful and laid back gray tabby cat who comes to us because her previous owners have way too many cats and need to downsize. She's a short haired cat, very sweet, and is perfectly content being held while you watch TV, read your favorite book, or whatever you're doing.
