Prepare to be loved. And ignored.

Creole
McCook Humane Society Guest Creole is a beautiful shorthaired calico cat who comes to us because her previous owner just has too many cats and kittens. Creole came in with another cat and with kittens. She gets along with other cats, and the home she came from had dogs and kids. She's a sweet girl who is now in need of a new home.

Copper
McCook Humane Society Guest Copper is another super sweet and playful kitten who came in as a stray that wasn't claimed. This orange tabby with white markings is strikingly handsome and truly loves all of the attention he readily gets from us. He's two to three months old, loves anyone he meets and would be great in any home with anyone.

Tinker and Belle
McCook Humane Society Guest Tinker and Belle are two more of a litter of five that came in because the folks just can't keep that many cats and kittens. These are the short haired kittens of the litter, and they are right at eight weeks old. Tinker is an orange tabby, and he's a male. Belle is a female and she's black with a bit of white. These two are also very socialized, playful and ready for their new homes.

Lynx and Bengal
McCook Humane Society Guest Lynx and Bengal are eight week short haired kittens who come to us because their previous owner has too many cats and kittens. Both are very sweet, playful and have been handled so they love the attention. Lynx is the orange and white one and Bengal is the orange tabby. Both are males.

Goose, Birdie and Catfish
McCook Humane Society Guest The Park Pack has arrived! We've got another litter of kittens that have arrived, these five females were found abandoned in a park. There are two gray and white ones and three black and white ones. All are female and they are best guess right at eight weeks old. They've been handled before, they're friendly and getting along just fine with all of us. They're ready for their homes, come on in and see Goose, Twiggy, Catfish, Birdie and Lilly today!

Wink
McCook Humane Society Guest Wink comes to us because his previous owner has too many cats and is trying to downsize. This very Russian Blue is right at three years old and very used to getting a lot of attention. He comes from a home with his partner, another cat named Coconut and has no problem at all with him. He does not seem to like any other cat in our facility however. He gets along with great with us, he just really doesn't want to know that there's any other cats in his room except his pal Coconut.

Coconut
McCook Humane Society Guest Coconut comes to us because his previous owner has too many cats and is trying to downsize. This very sweet and friendly white and orange short haired cat is right at seven months old and very used to getting a lot of attention. He comes from a home with a lot of cats and has no problem with any of them. He came in with another cat, Wink. He gets along with anybody he's met and seems to love the attention we give him.

Vulco
McCook Humane Society Guest Vulco is a very handsome short haired white and orange adult cat who came in as a stray that wasn't claimed. This guy loves every one of us, and seems to have no problem letting us wait on him! We're fairly certain he's used to having humans do his bidding. We know nothing of his past, but do know that he's friendly and gets along with anyone he meets.

Gollum
McCook Humane Society Guest Gollum is another stray who came in and wasn't claimed. This longer haired orange tabby is also front declawed and we truly believe that he and another cat that came in with him, Gandolf, had to be someone's pets at one time. Gollum is very friendly and used to being handled, we know he gets along with other cats, and he loves the attention he gets from all of us. He had some serious mats, and had no problem letting us try our best to get them out, even to the point of having to shave some of his fur.

Caterina and Medusa
McCook Humane Society Guest Caterina and Medusa are two of a litter of four kittens who come to us because her previous owners have too many cats and kittens and are downsizing. Their mom, Sabrina, a black short haired cat is also here, along with their two brothers, both black short haired kittens. These two tortoiseshell colored sweethearts are just as sweet as they can be. This litter was born on November 25th and are ready for their new forever homes.

Selena
McCook Humane Society Guest Selena is a beautiful black short haired cat that showed up at a rural home and decided she lived there. She's a young adult gal that is so friendly it made it hard for the owner to walk and she was actually a trip hazard. After trying to find the friendly girl's owner to no avail, she was brought to us for re-homing. This pretty lady is certainly ready to hang out with anyone that will give her attention and would be the perfect companion!

Salem and Kaulder
McCook Humane Society Guest Salem and Kaulder are part of a litter of four kittens that were brought in because their previous owner had too many cats and kittens and is downsizing. They are two very handsome shorthaired black males that were born on November 25th and are socialized, playful and ready for their new families to come on in and take them home!
